How to delete TutorDay data

1. Information on your device

To remove individual information, open TutorDay and delete the relevant student, group, or lesson using the controls in the App.

To remove all local TutorDay data:

1. Open Android Settings.
2. Select Apps → TutorDay → Storage (labels may vary).
3. Choose Clear data or Clear storage.

Uninstalling the App also removes its local data from the device. If Android system backup is enabled, some data may later be restored from a backup.

2. Synchronisation snapshots in Google Drive

If you connected sync, TutorDay may have saved snapshots in its hidden app-data folder in your Google Drive. These files do not appear in the normal My Drive file list.

1. Open Google Drive settings using the same Google Account.
2. Open Manage apps.
3. Find TutorDay.
4. Open Options and choose to delete hidden app data, if shown.
5. Confirm deletion.

Google's labels may vary by language and device. Disconnecting sync in TutorDay stops future data exchange, but should not be treated as deleting existing Drive snapshots.

3. Revoke Google Drive access

To revoke the App's permission separately:

1. Open your Google Account's third-party connections.
2. Select TutorDay and remove its access.

Revoking access prevents new Drive requests but does not guarantee deletion of information saved earlier. Follow section 2 to delete stored snapshots.

4. Exported files and messages

Copies you exported to files, sent through Share, or transferred to a messaging app are outside TutorDay. Delete them from the selected file storage, recipient, or service under that service's controls.

5. Android system backup

To prevent restoration after reinstalling, review Android system-backup settings and remove the relevant device backup if Google or your manufacturer provides that option. This can affect backups for other apps, so check the selected item carefully.

6. Account deletion

TutorDay creates no user account and the developer maintains no server-side user database. There is therefore no separate TutorDay account that requires a deletion request. Your Google Account is independent and is not deleted when you disconnect TutorDay.
